When I read of young children having to deal with this is upsets me. I remember when I was browsing on You Tube about RA and I saw a little girl with it, it really got to me, reduced me to tears. She was bending her fingers just like I do, as if it was just a normal thing to do. I've read one account about a toddler, they didn't realise that she had it until she started to walk. Its so cruel, children shouldn't get this.

yes it is so unfair,my dear Mother was struck down with Arthritis as just age 3 and half spent so much of her childhood in hospitals it did however subside into remission until later life around 48 plus bless her.
along with constant infections.
i also know of some parents with little ones just 3 with lupus.
horrid disceases.

Thanks for posting it Paula. It really puts things into perspective for me when I complain about what I have to put up with- at least I was 50 when I was hit with RA
